Memory Lane

I spent a good portion of this past weekend wandering down memory lane. It started with a box of old yearbooks. I made the mistake of asking the kids to see if they could find me on the page and when they couldn't I began to wonder how old I really look!

After the yearbooks, I moved on to a box of scrapbooks and photo albums that were Grandma's. I absolutely adore old photos, whether I know anything about them or have any connection to them or not. I just love that a photograph I hold in my hand is a moment frozen in time, never to be seen again. Pretty cool.

I have in my mind to scrapbook some heritage photos and some of my childhood. I found a fun little photo of me and my favorite doll which led to this page for the Digi Dare this week. Ain't I cute? :)



I found photos of people I barely remember and photos of people I can't believe I had forgotten. There is something to be said for wandering back into the past for a little while. I don't want to live there; but just a short visit now and then is good for the soul.
