The Last Day
Today is the last day of the kids' summer vacation. Usually Tuesday is my day off, but I switched for this week and decided to stay home with the kids for their last day. We made M&M pancakes this morning, but haven't decided what else to do with ourselves yet. This day always seems a little bittersweet to me.

OH how sweet. I did that with my son too. He hated it. hehehe
The kids started in NC on August 10 and school here started last Monday (the 24th). I have been trying to avoid going by the school when it is time to start or to get out, since I had to take and pick up the Princess for the last 5 years. Luckily we got to talk and see them on Skype after they got home their first day.
Love your First Days layout! It is always harder on the adults than the kids I think because they are excited and we are feeling lost. Hope they have a great first day!
