Punchin' that clock and other stuff

Today is "Punch the Clock" day. What's the best day you've had this month?
My job as Director of Adult Ministries encompasses so much and working at a church is so dynamic that every day is different. One day we might be loading up the bus with supplies to help out after a blizzard hit the reservation, making sandwiches for a church meal, talking to people who just need someone to listen or setting up everything for a Bible study or workshop.

This past Friday was my favorite so far this month. We have a group of "mature" folks that I help plan an activity for once a month. Last week I set up a tour of our local museum, The Journey, and then a soup and sandwich lunch afterwards. The weather was cold and snowy, but 23 people made it. And when we all sat down to lunch one of the ladies said, "So this is your job? Eating with old people?" And I told her seriously, "This is the BEST part of my job!" How lucky I am.

I miss you too. :(

Loved how you answered the prompt though. Maybe you can manage to dine with two old ladies (Tammy & me) down in Florida some time.
